The U320 was the top of the line for Foretravel for many years
and includes the
Cummins M11 engine (450 hp, 7.5-8.5 mpg), Allison 6 speed
trans. with retarder,
Bose surround sound system, air ride and leveling (no jacks to
get stuck), automatic
TV dish (we added a TiVo to the system) full air-ride
suspension, 4-wheel disk
brakes with ABS, Pantographic bay doors (go up along the side
of the coach - no
head banging!), two huge slide-out trays on the main storage
bay, and opening on
both sides for the other storage bay. With the Unibody
construction of this coach,
there are no frame rails running through any of the storage
bays. The generator is
diesel (as is the AquaHot system for heat and hot water) and has
an Auto-start and
stop for when the batteries need charging. The house batteries
(3, 8D AGM) were
replaced in October 2007. The coach is in pristine condition.
We love the coach and
would take off for anywhere on a moments notice. We’ve been
border to border and
coast to coast with it in the past 5 years. We’re the second
owners (non-smoking,
no pets) and have owned it since July 2003. |
